The ThermoPEX Coupling Kit 1 ′′ (p/n 2447) is designed to join two ends of ThermoPEX piping by utilizing a twelve-inch rubber splice . This connection method uses band clamps, which are included in the kit . Note that the necessary fittings and crimp rings for connecting the PEX lines inside the splice are not included and must be purchased separately .
