Water Jacket Sludge Conditioner (CL7260, E-Classic 3200): Corrosion Remediation

Description

Sludge Conditioner is used to mitigate potential corrosion by reducing mineral deposits and inhibiting internal rust within the water jacket, particularly within the boiler side of water-to-water heat exchangers . Although softened water is preferred for filling, this conditioner can be circulated for one week as a rescue treatment if low Corrosion Inhibitor levels have already resulted in corrosion, after which the system must be flushed and refilled . Different furnace models require different preventative and rescue treatment amounts, ranging from 1/2 gallon for smaller units to 2 gallons for larger systems .
